Thank you Wannabchick , I love shabbychick . I had a blast painting this coop and finding all the accessories . My husband was pulling his hair out .

BirdWalkFarm,
What a great idea to put a chair inside the coop (where the chickens can't poop on!) Why didn't I think of it before.
And I LOVE your wolf door knocker!!!

Here's a picture of the coup I built this past summer. The colors are Butter Yellow with a Burgundy trim, both from Lowes. Lots of work, but well worth the enjoyment in the end.

The picture was taken in the evening when the sun was down. It's much brighter in the full daylight.

Looks like we like the same colors. I just bought this same shade of orange for my D'Uccle coop.

BTW, my coop looked so clean 'cause I had JUST put the birds in. Still looks pretty clean. They like to spend most of their time out in the run.

Your fox door knocker is a nice touch.

Well, mine irsn't painted yet... I'm getting the paint this week. But it's going to be LIME green...And I do mean lime--it's my color! With white trim. Oh did I mention that my coop looks like an outhouse? I'm going to paint a little half moon on the door
