Coop color??

I wanted the look of an old Michigan barn, backyard-size (thus, classic barn red with white trim and a gray roof):

My lovely bathroom vanity coop is painted a lovely light yellow on the outside and a soft baby blue the inside, with natural redwood clear varnished roost and nest box support. The roof is an oil pan sold at walmart for use under a car in a garage (works great). The three doors and wood supports and trim are painted bright white, and the ramp is also white. The coop is now kept in a steel dog run, chocolate brown with hardware cloth covering the lower three feet. See my page for a better description, and thanks for starting this thread. It's great.

We are in the process of remodeling our bath and we have a huge cabinet in there that is going. I would have never thought to do this... so glad you shared. I'm totally doing this... it'll be a mansion for my bantams!

Ours isn't built yet but we've picked out a nice light blue (not quite as bright as sky blue but close) with white trim. I think it's Satin gloss... The roof is going to be light brown (shingles). We're trying to match our house as closely as possible. I'll post a pic when it's complete...
