Coop D'Chicken is done...almost (pics)

Still need to paint a few things, but here it is. Just wanted to mention that there is hardwire cloth behind the chicken wire (my hubby LIKES the look of chicken wire.

) and on the back side of the screen door. We have plastic netting on top of the run, but that should be fine as we will lock the chickens in the coop every night and not let them out in to the run until after day break.

Our new rooster, Dapper Dan, sure seems to like it...

Beautiful, and I love your dapper Dan. He really is strutting.
You might want to switch their perch to a 2x4 for winter. That way when they sit on it they can cover their feet with their feathers and prevent any cold foot problems. Also they are less likly to fall from their perch while they are alseep. I love all the windows. I would love to add some more to my coop. Gloria jean
