Its Thursday morning just waiting for the check to hit the bank so I can pay bills. Going to order my silkie eggs this morning. The other 13 eggs I put in the incubator are getting ready to hatch. Just a couple of more days to hatch day. They are on lockdown.

Bring back some samples from the bank for me. $$$$

Yay its the weekend and hubby is home to help me. He is gonna make a few more nesting boxes. My father in law brought us some nice wood. We get pallets free and wood so its nothing to build for our chooks. I havent been feeling well need t go to the cardiologist but first the drs and a referral.

Going to pick up my silkie eggs at 6pm in taylorsville walmart. Cant wait to hatch silkies!

got my silkie eggs plus 2 brown thats 13 silky eggs and 2 baryard min in the incubater. tomorrow at 630pm will be day one. They will hatch in 21 days. There is a chance for frizzle and satins too. The fathers are black, buff and splash.

I woke up at 1am its now 2:56am. Everyone is asleep especially the chooks. I keep tabs on Facebook that's where I got my silkie eggs. The lady sent pictures of her chicks and they all have 5 toes which is a staple of a true Silkie. There is also a chance to get a Frizzle or Frazzle, that would be neat they are so cute. The fathers are black, splash and white so I can get any color as white produces any color. I do hope to get a splash they are my favorite Silkie color.

I thought frazzles (with a double frizzle gene) were a bad thing - associated with health problems.
You might want ‘sizzles’ (frizzled silkies).
