Wow I actually slept 8 hours straight without waking up. I usually sleep a couple hours to 4-5 hours at a time and wake up around 2 am. Its 37 degrees out and chilly will let the chooks out at aout 830-9am when its a little warmer.

Its Sunday fun day. The chooks are fed and t will be a warm 60+ degrees. Its gonna be a nice day for photos.

Zeus tried to attack me this morning but I was watching him and put my foot out and stopped him. Then I went after him to pick him up but he runs fast. He hid until I left the coop. He crows all day and once in awhile you can hear Hades crowing.

I could never manage to catch Oreo either. I know it’s the most common suggestion I saw but clearly this advice must be for people far more agile then I am. Plus, I have seen bite/peck injuries to peoples faces and eyes so I am not sure its 100% a good idea. If you do manage a catch please consider carrying him backwards. That was my plan if I had managed to catch Oreo. Just my thoughts given what I recently went through. Despite weighing a fraction of my weight I found the ferocity of his attacks startling and it escalated quickly.

Almost time for afternoon treats and egg collection. I collected 7 eggs this morning but dropped one so the chooks ogt it.

Its gonna be a beautiful day. I have fed and watered everyone including the 3 chicks I have. Ill have to put up a new post for them they are bigger. I havent spent time with them so they dont come to me. I need to get photos today of everyone for updates. I slept until 730am. I slept good again. Two nights in a row waking up without feeling tired.
