Beautiful coop. You're so lucky it didnt get the thumb bone. Broke my thumb almost took a year to fully heal

Regarding the coop, it looks great, though I would recommend adding a few supports under the floor joists if you plan on any humans going inside - not sure if that configuration would hold a person, especially after the wood weathers for a few years...

I have told the local Tractor Supply Store people that by the time my first egg was laid by one of my six ladies it was worth about $1500.

I think most of us have our chickens for the joy they bring us and not the money they save us!

Will you forgive me if I tell you I belly laughed when I saw the hand?

Something me or one of my sons might have done... but I outlawed the power nailer... I need my hands to make a living.

Hope there are no long term complications from the nail gun to the hand routine. OUCH!!
