Ok, I have a new coop - finally got it done, and the chickens are all moved in. Here's my entry.

Hey Chiknmama- love your chicken condo! Our house which we built is on a slope but didn't consider putting the hen house on one - or rather it is on one but it just has room under the downhill side so far. I love all the room your chooks have. What are you naming it?

And Jenn - great use of space and lovely little home for your girls!

I'm leaning more towards Fowlty Towers Chicken Condos, but I have yet to make the sign for this coop (Not sure if you ever seen Fawlty Towers on BBC - I love John Cleese). I have the board and the paint, we've just been busy catching up on housework and installing my wood stove - since we spent so much time on that coop, LOL things got neglected.

I have been reading (oh oh) and considering strongly (bigger oh oh) on turning one of the cells into a home for some quail. What I love about this coop is that I can use it for so many different brids - quail, turkey, etc... I just have to convince hubby that we NEED quail and Turkey, LOL.

I cannot believe you wrote that. Iwas driving into town last night after I wrote you and my guy and I were talking about what to name the coop - I said how about Poultry Towers!! BASIL!!!!! But no - we also thought of 'Cheep Acomodations" but they aren't are they - honestly! I'll keep thinking. Something to do with this being by the sea.

And as for neglecting things while fussing with the chickens - well I've got it down to a science. So I must do some editing and I'll keep you posted on what we come up with and you do the same!
