I think this has happened to more people than care to admit. I'm sure there will be a case where someone ended up having to eat eggs and a chicken to survive until help arrived.
I admit it I have the same latch set up and got locked in the run I panicked for a sec too and felt embarrassed even though noone could see me. I took a hoe that was in the run and reached it over the fence and hit the latch. actually has happened twice. sshh dont tell anyone
These stories are FUNNY!! Sure makes me glad that we put a handle/latch that can be opened from both sides, or I'd be doing the same thing! Though I'd probably take a screen out and crawl out the window. The pop door---I'd get stuck for sure, and my DH would just laugh and take pictures.

I would have climbed out a window except they had wood screws with washers every 2 inches holding the hardware cloth in place with wood strips screwed over those.
LOL and you know the photos would take priority over unlocking the door!
