Yeah, there's always more to do, same with any animal housing. You'll like that trough feeder with the twirly bit on top, far better than the ones with the holes. When the chickies turn into pullets there will come a time when you can remove the twirly and use the trough until they get used to your feeder-dispenser.
The insulation is worth every penny. Even without heat the coldest the coop has been is -3C with the pop door open. Mind you, there are a few days when the chill factor is in the -20's that I keep the hens in. Actually on those days I find they will not go near the pop door, perhaps they are telling me *not* to open it, please. It's so nice to have plenty of space for them, they are content when the cold is in the danger zone.
Days are getting and a warm spell for a few once we get past the freezing rain tomorrow...
