So, I finally finished my coop, and am very satisfied with the build. But, now I am trying to decide on what type of fencing I am going to install for the run - chickens go in it in two weeks. Initially I wanted netting from premire1, but then thought that installing an electric fence on t-posts would be great, as I could put a few sheep in it also. If I did the netting I would get two or three of the of the 150 foot nets, or if I was doing t-posts, then simply do and 200 X 85 foot section of the side yard which I could expand later. The fencing is more to keep things out than keep the chickens in. Or, maybe just free range the birds like everyone else does. Or just eat the chickens and sleep in the coop.......
