I was wandering through home depot today and they had a piece of the most retched colored vinyl flooring you’ve ever seen. It was in the bargain bin so it must have been pretty cheap. Could I put that down in the coop for ease of cleaning?

I just used some old linoleum that mom pulled out her kitchen.
Right or wrong I was thinking of how easy it would be to clean and its water proof. I added pine chips to the top of that.

The vinyl is water proof, but if it has a paper backing it won't be. If you get some out door glue for carpet, you can glue it down and it will last a long time.

It would be great. Heed USMC's advise about the outdoor carpet glue.

It will be easy to clean. Just put a layer of pine shavings over it and you have a great floor and bedding for the chickens.

I am looking at doing the same thing.
