I recently obtained 50 quail for egg production. I have been looking through the archives, online and in a few books on different coops. I am looking for a 2 story coop that is split between an inside portion that leads out to a mesh area that they can hang out on in the winter. During the summer I would like the open mesh portion to have a ramp that leads down to a fenced in portion below so they can relax in the grass. I want to make this light enough that I can push it around, probably put the entire thing on wheels. Any pictures of suggestions of coops like this that work well?

and also do they need nesting boxes or do they pretty much lay any where(there seems to be conflicting opinions from what I have read.

Thanks for your input! Hopefully we will be busy this weekend building!
