Thank you so much that means a lot. We really do love our girls so much and we try our hardest to give them the best life possible.

Of course I have like the exact same coop in a different color. If you know your chickens are happy, then that’s all that matters. You’re doing great and keep it up. The desire to want to do good for your chickens and the effort you put into them always comes back to you!

I think all the advice for the roosting bars and roof have been good. I did see that you would like to get a bigger coop eventually though. When that time comes I would check out Facebook marketplace. I have seen pretty large coops for unbelievably cheap. There are also tons of people giving away free wood (mostly pallets but lots of other stuff as well) so you could build a coop for very little as well if that is what you would rather do.

I have been scouring FB for things, but to no avail. I will keep hunting though!
As for the pallets, I think my partner’s dad has a whole bunch… So we may opt for that!
