I think your wind problem can be solved with a simple building trick. Make your house an open sided rectangle......at least 2X to 3X deep as it is wide. Say 8' x 16, or perhaps 8' x 20'. The narrow end......the 8' part......is left wide open. Nothing but wire. The other sides, made so they are solid...or can be made so by closing some openings.
Hard to believe, but in the back of such a structure, the wind and air movement will go calm. I have a Woods house and it does that of course, but I also have a horse barn near the Woods, and it has a 10' x 34' open ended lean to shed attached on one side. One end is wide, open. It can be blowing like stink outside....the whole barn humming, but step inside that shed...no more than 5 feet or so......and the wind dies out to nothing.
If later on when the weather gets hot, you find you need more ventilation, make it so you can open up the other end a bit.....or place some openings in the sides that you can open.
