I am looking at getting this coop - https://www.familyfarmandhome.com/inet/storefront/store.php?mode=showproductdetail&product=9240 - However, I'm not sure what to do about the winter months with this type of coop. Also, how many chickens could this coop hold? We don't want to have to many chickens, just enough to supply our family with eggs, so I'm thinking 2-3. Is that enough to have a happy flock? The other concern I have is predators, I originally wanted to build an enclosed coop/run to reduce the predator concern, but the ease of cleaning appeals greatly to me since I have 3 kids and 1 due soon. Maybe I should put off chickens another year. So undecided. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I agree with aart. Do a lot of research. With a new baby coming, do not stress yourself out. Wait one more year and get a lot of info under your belt. :) You can do it Momma, just get your humans squared away first :) I have 4 children as well and I know there's no way I could have had a newborn baby and a new flock of chickens at the same time and stay sane. :)
