Coop is done. They have moved in.

So in two weeks I went from wood to a new home.
This is the start of the build. Frame went up pretty easy.

The roof is on. Got to keep the babies dry.

The Hen house being made.

All done.....Well After it was made.. I did not know the chicks would get so big. So I need to make the opening bigger.

But not to bad for my 1st coop if I do say so myself.

My chicks love it!

Oh, you might want to put some wire over the little holes in the top (if it's not already...can't tell in the pics)...a raccoon or something could climb in there and get the babies.

If you get much wind, I would suggest you firm up the front overhang. A strong just may rip the metal right through the nails. Otherwise it looks great.
