Coop is done!

I will have the window open during the day and the door to their coop going outside, they’ll only be in it in the evening/night

Problem is the chickens (and their poop) are the top generators of moisture inside the coop, so during night is when they really need that ventilation, not during the day when they're not inside the space. Doors are not ventilation unless they're intended to be left open 24/7.

I am going to pick up four of these to install on all four sides!

Agreed that those vents alone would be insufficient (though having a few of those wouldn't be bad) - you want at least 1 sq ft per chicken that can be left open rain or shine, night or day.

Looks fantastic, just keep in mind what everyone is saying about ventilation.

You need more than store bought gable or soffit vents in the walls.

So we should put the vents in the front and the back of the coop like in those photos?

Left picture. I'd vent it in the direction the wind doesn't blow typically. If you're getting north wind I assume your roof is sloped down against the wind so I would vent it under the high end or top front side above the door and window.
