Coop landscaping

I am SOOOOOOOO jealous!! I am so in love with palm trees... but I don't think they love Wisconsin winters!

That is BEAUTIFUL!

Aren't chickens notorious for picking plants and stuff? What shouldn't be planted so as not to entice the chicks? I love the idea of day lillies and Iris and the like, so this could turn into a whole new flower gardening project for us!!

none of the stuff I have planted around the coop should harm chickens, even if they could peck it, the darn guineas keep my carpet grass picked to death and they like to do a number on my philodendrens as well, they dont seem to bother the african iris at all tho?!?!?!?!

Grullablue thanks for the compliment.

last pic, in the one above this one my big peeve is the evil guineas scratch all the mulch onto the gravel path grrrrrrrrr.

I have a tree farm grulla so I sorta get to cheat when it comes to landscaping.

The first time we went to Florida I took more pics of palm trees than I did my own kid! LOL... If I didn't have family here, I would SO move to somewhere where I could have some in my yard!

Anyway.......that is a beautiful place ya got there....

Tad, you have set the bar too high.
I love the green paint. It looks so cool and, well, green.

I didn't get to the coop today, but I'm still working on it.

It will look a lot better in a few weeks, the crotons are just getting rooted in and the christmas palms in the front will look better when they get established a little better, the green stain is a staple here and I got it home depot, it is "livestock safe"....
