The goal of the contest is to add great pictures and information to the site that will be helpful for others to get ideas and build (or have built) coops that work best for their situation!

We still had a previous hen house from where we had chickens about 15 yrs ago. Most of it had rotted out and we almost had to start from scratch. Our laying boxes were still good and the backside of the hen house. We had torn down part of it but I am wondering if we dont have our designs, since we just did it as we had materials and not a floor plan, is this acceptible?

sigh, might have to get busy building a coop page. been slowly working on a coop past 2 months out of reclaimed lumber, scraps and old left over roofing. definitely a hillbilly job lol. take some pics tomarrow, and see about getting a page up. No chickens yet, looking to order chicks in late January, still got power to run out the coop yet so I can brood them out in the coop.
