I have a 12x14 salt box style woodshed that I built a few years ago, it's really been used for no purpose except storage and we kept a couple rows of firewood in it. We are 3 weeks into brooding our flock of RIR's. And all is going amazing!! This is so much fun. Ok, the problem is that the shed has set unoccupied for about a year and a half. And the roof has leaked resulting in some mildew on the floor and walls. I realize the roof leaking needs to be repaired and the shed opened and dried out. Will the fact that the mildew was and technically is in the wood cause health problems for the chickens ?
