coop re-model

We adpoted chickens & their coop. The perches seem pretty dirty even after scraping and cleaning. Should you ever change out perches or anything else in coops for sanitary purposes?

You should regularly sanitize the nest boxes, feeders, and waterers. How often just depends on how messy your chickens are. I don't replace my roosts, if they get an accumulation of poo on them, I just use a paint scraper to scrape it off.

Thank you, I did do that today. Wasn't sure if you had to replace roosts every now and then
