Coop ready

At a poultry swap today and I forgot to ask how old this leghorn is. How close is it to being coop ready? Highs right now are in the 60s with lows in the lower 40s.

Mine have been outside for a few weeks now, and doing fine, mine were 5 weeks and full feathers lime yours, were having the same timps

I'm not sure. That's the problem. I forgot to ask at the swap. Does the pic show the feathering well enough?

Looks fully feathered to me....the head is the last part to get feathers, so if those are feathers on the head and not still down, it's fully feathered.

But it looks like it's still under a heat lamp? Get it off the heat lamp and used to going outside for a couple hours each day before putting it out full time.
