Coop roosts (Please Post your pics)

If anyone at all has pics of there roost in there coops or someone elses for that matter. Please post pics or advice trying to get an idea of how I want to build mine. Here is a pic of the coop if it helps, its an 8x8.

Oh yeah its still a work in progress by the way. There pop hole will be to the left of that screen door about 3 ft. just FYI

Here's a picture of ours....

Our coop is 4 by 8; smaller than yours. We built the roosts, poop boards and ladder along both sides of the "short"side of the coop.

Here's ours. We just cut some roughly 4" diameter trees off of our property. The chickens LOVE them! The poop board is just some leftover T1-11 siding we had from another project. We placed a couple of 2x4s under it for bracing, and it just slides off. Our coop is 8x8 as well.

We have one along the left wall, and one in the back in front of the window, and another just in front of the nest boxes on the right.

Our chicks are still teenagers so they don't use the roosts much yet (they still huddle on the floor).
However, two of our Australorps were sleeping on the roost the first night in the coop.

Thought of using some tree branches if i can find some straight enough. What wood would (lol) be best to use??? Pine, Dogwood, Oak?......I'm in NC if that helps!
