Pictures help a lot. I'm definitely a fan of option 3 after looking at all of these, a big factor is that you said there's some shade available during the hottest part of the day plus it's flat enough that it should be easier to fence. It's really not as far away as I thought either (I originally thought it was across a street, which would be a massive pain!)
