Finally got the insulation and interior walls in and painted. Tonight I was able to do some of the trim paint. The color of the inside trim will also be the main color on the outside (once we quit having thunderstorms and crazy winds). It's called "Granny Smith Apple" and pretty much looks just like one!

The nesting boxes are primed. I still need to put the floor boards in it, then the final paint color-"Indigo Night". I figured the dark color would give them more of a sense of privacy. Seems like people have mentioned that the hens like a darker spot for laying.

The boxes will go up against the partition wall. I'm still working on the access doors that will be on the other side of the wall.

The roost boards, internal door and a few other items are still being painted, so they are not up yet. I am really hoping to have things ready for a move in before the holiday weekend is completely over. Depending on how the paint fumes have dissipated, of course...
