I think its normal for the coop to be smaller than the run.
Ours all get along, 1 boy 4 girls, thought they were pretty docile or wouldn't have gotten them. they run free in zoos...

Ok good it's 9 ft long 5 feet tall for coop run 10 ft tall 8 ft wide
