Hey all,
just curious how sturdy the coop is for those that put the coop together already. This looks like a coop I was thinking about buying a while back to use as a breeding pen for some bantams.

WOW! They look great! I will out of town most of the rest of the month. Would it be OK to pick up at the end of the month?

Thanks again!

Thanks

I put mine together today - I have begun to add all my extras and hope to move my DW's spoiled babies into it this weekend. I will post pic's of it when I am done! I added latches for the doors, vinyl flooring in the coop/nesting box for easy clean-up, a roost, and a vinyl floor for the bottom of the run, hardware cloth to secure the little windows and eventually I will put on a sliding plexi-glass window for the colder months. I am also making a sliding/pocket door to secure the coop/run opening and keep the warmth in during the colder months here in the north east!

Oh wow cannot wait to see pics. Do us a favor and get a material list of what you use and real good pictures of the modifications, because some of us may want to borrow your ideas for our modifications. Thank you so much.

Here are some pics of my completed coop -
Note:
If you are installing any hardware be sure to pre-drill as some of the wood splits easily.
I invested in a tube of silicone calk and sealed all the gaps in between the floors and the walls. (the calk also doubled as my adhesive for the vinyl flooring)

Assembled coop: I added the brass latches on the 2 doors and harware cloth over the window openings - I also have a slotted piece of plexi-glass to open/close the windows during the colder months but not to install it yet.

Installed pop door - my pocket/slider door didn't work out the way I wanted so I decided to keep it simple!
