Coop temps at night

I’m afraid the coop will be too warm for them at night and they’re so used to roosting, they’ll just bake themselves in there!

Nighttime temps during this heatwave will only fall to the 80’s.

Any good ideas for cooling the coop at night? Ice blocks in the corners? Anything? Or will they be ok?

Lots of ventilation. Do you have a picture of your coop?

They'll be fine, just make sure they have ventilation

They always need ventilation, whether the temperature is 0 or 95 Fahrenheit.

They will be fine in the upper 80's. You do not need to do anything for them.

I run an extension cord out to my coop and use a fan when it's terribly hot.

If you are really worried and have a secure set up, well leave the pop up door open, so a bird could leave the coop if they want. I have roosts in the run too. However, mine have always cooped up.

If an animal has options, well they seldom will kill themselves. It is when humans trap them in a small coop to be safe, without adequate ventilation that you could have a problem.

Depending on your layout and run security, I've even left the human door open at night since that adds a ton of extra ventilation. Figured the increased security risk is worth it for the extra air flow when there's a heat dome.
