Let me know what you think about this unusual coop I found on Ebay. The website is Poultrypods.com

I would be interested in seeing what kind of plastic it is.....but if it is just corrugated plastic, it's way too expensive. About 30 bucks worth of material there. That and a hole saw and a few rivets and you have the coop. I would worry a little about putting it in direct sunlight too....might get too hot even with the holes and still need shade. But it is small enough to move to a good area.

It's Plasticore alright I could see the ribs in the pics which meens it's thin too. I think it would be to light and if no birds were in it when the wind picked up you would have to drive across town to get it, lol. I use to use the stuff to make cheap RC airplanes.

Based on the pictures, and the data they provide, it looks too small for the number of chickens they claim it will hold.

The fact that it only weighs 16 pounds has me wondering just what kind of plastic that really is and how well this thing would hold up to even a good thunderstorm.

I'd pass on this.

well I wouldnt buy it. you can see right through it!!!! like was mentioned a hungry dog would tear the thing apart. I had a black lab rip the door off a wire kennel to get to my first chicks I had and he wasnt hungry. he just wanted the out to eat. they were nugget size to him.

cool design, but yeah not very predator safe, HOWEVER if you were to put it inside a predator safe run, it could work

I would be concerned about it getting too hot in the summer (where I am it can get to 100+ for weeks at a time in the summer). Also, as someone else mentioned, plastic degrades rapidly when exposed to sunlight. In my suburban setting, I don't have to worry as much about predators as those in more rural settings (not to say I don't worry at all

) but the temperature would be my greatest concern.

kinda looks like it might blow over if you get a decent breeze, i would personaly never use it.

I was not thinking of buying this, just wanted other peoples opinion.
