I will be building a bigger coop for my chickens. Are there any tips for me that you may have? I am planning on building one that is 8ft by 12 ft. And using cement and cinder blocks as the base because they hold up better than wire mesh. For the ventilation I am using wire mesh and no chicken wire. And the roof may be a triangle one and the roof for the run is netting. We have all kinds of predators including snakes (maybe never saw one yet) , hawks ( red tails), and most likely coyotes and rats

Oh really?! Thanks but is there a way to get enough pressure treated lumber?
For pressure treated lumber up here, we are sort on supply. Pressure treated plywood costs about $50 instead of normally $30.
It may to have a plan or blueprint this winter and slowly buy the lumber instead of all at one time based on your stock and available money.
