Coop Up and Operational

Sorry it took so long to get some pics up...been busy around here.

I will get all the coop pics up soon.

We took pics as we built the coop. We were not done with it yet, but a friend sent over 4 lovely ladies and a roo! They are some good birds and we have already gotten 2 eggs!

Now I gotta' figure out how to post pics!!

And the good thing I failed to mention.....the only cost was the paint and some nails!!! Every thing I made this out of was used, or free, materials!! Even the hinges. The dog fence was already on the property, and all the wood was collected from pallets, friends and craigslist.

The other set of coops and run is in the works...chicks come out of the brooder in 2 weeks!!



This is one of their first pics...need to get an updated pic...they are a lot bigger now!!!
Have some in the incubator that should hatch in 2-3days!!
