Coop ventilation

Cool. I should be able to get out to the shop and look at this tonight. Using my daylight today to build stone and block foundation walls (fox frustration depth, not frost line) for coop and run.

Well, I'm committed now! Moving them down to 18". Nests extracted, door and trim removed, frame cut. Cutting siding tomorrow night.

I'm going to simply cut a panel from the siding and slide it up to cover the old hole. Trim board can cover both horizontal seams, and I can caulk the vertical seams.

Hah... Saw this too late. Pneumatic stapler, since it's Masonite siding.

Major surgery done. Just need to cut some new trim to cover seams, and repaint.

Posted a new thread to debate roost and poop board height, size, location. Posted sketches of layout, as well. Just waiting on a mod to approve the thread.
