Pretty nifty. Does it get hot in the summer tho?

Yes, in SW NM it can get toasty. I put a reflective tarp on the top of the trailer to reflect the sun's rays. The pen does have a juniper tree for shade and they love going under the trailer. I noted at least a 10 point drop in temps when I put up the tarp. For winter I am going to replace the small tarp with a larger one to cover some of the openings and protect my Marans from the wind and snow.​

I think that is a great idea. If you ever need to haul your horses, you can pen up the birds while your out with the trailer. Nice set up!
