What a great website! I just love looking at photos and illustrations of vintage coops. The person who built that site appears to be Dutch, and their quirky English is really charming.

Good information on lots of European breeds I've never heard of also.

I've been to that website before but never clicked on COOPS. Thank you, Sticks.

Those "pile coops" look like such a good idea. I bet chickens would be under those things even in the worse weather.

The design would be a way to increase floor space without increasing the footprint of the building. Pile coops, very appropriate for a backyard flock . . .
