When mine decided to sleep in the nesting boxes moving them to the roost after dark worked well. Except for Hannah who came back off the roost despite the dark. She's better, now.

Not much happening here. Looking into PVC pipes for food/water because the chickens keep knocking their food over the neighbor kids came over and the chickens were not impressed…I had to tell them several times to stop chasing/trying to pick them up I think when they come over next I’ll leave the chickens in the coop haha

Maybe if they did chase them they would leave them alone haha they just run away

I’ve been working everyday this week (a very unusual schedule for me) and I miss being with my chickens
I have to be up and out of my house by 515am, I have a hour drive and work from 630-1ish and then have an hour drive home. I would much rather be at home with my chickens

My girls were SO noisy tonight I let them out before I went in to go to bed and Rose (our BCM, who is our most vocal) was being so loud and had a ton to say apparently.
The girls are 13 weeks today!

The coop and run got a little makeover today! We raised it off of the ground and switched to pelletized bedding. They also got a new PVC feeder because they wouldn’t stop spilling their food
