Well Dorothy is on the bad list today…she was on my shoulder and tried to eat my ear off!!! She got a swat and put down immediately. She’s still my fav though

Sad day here today…
My oldest accidentally left the garage door open and our cat got in and snagged two chicks…
Tough lesson for her to learn but she will make sure the door is closed from now on.

When my kids were small my 7-8yo son took one of the chicks "for a walk", and got too close to our dog. I couldn't save the chick, and I remember my son crying that it was all his fault. Hard lesson.

He's 42 now, but I remember, and I think he does as well. We're still tender-hearted.

Love that picture. My daughter felt horrible and I just explained to her that that is the reason we have to make sure the door is always closed

My daughter is 6 so close to the same age as your son when that happened
