Does anyone ever feel so tired that they don’t think they can go out and do chicken chores in the morning?? That’s me this morning my oldest was up several times last night and I’m struggling to leave my warm blankets plus I think I hear it raining…maybe I’ll send my husband out instead

That's why I love my hoop coop. My flock gets their own breakfast, I don't have to be there!

Amazing!!!! I’ll have to look into that.
But with my sweet cross beak I have to go make mash..unless I come up with an invention that can make the mash for me!

It’s been such a long, sad week here. Losing chicks, sick chicks. Our two remaining chicks are being rehomed today. I know it’s going to be less stress but it’s still a really sad day.
Luckily we still have our four original bigger girls that are strong and healthy.
No more chicks for us this season. Maybe next spring.
