Hey all,

I copied the 50lb scrap wood feeder design from the learning center. Worked out great. I recommend it if you got access to scrap wood and have a pretty dry coop. Got some pics on our page.

The peaked top is just genius. Pure, simple genius! You DEFINITELY belong on BYC!!!!

Could even bolt a scrap piece of steel plating to bottom to make it less top heavy when filled. (Am thinking about how rambunctious and spastic chooks can be in a coop, like keystone cops.) Could also use plumber's tape to anchor the upper back area to a couple of wall studs to stabilize it.
