This little one is six weeks old. She is the smallest of the nine chicks that I have. I was hoping she was a bullet, but wondering because her comb is rather large. I don’t see much in the way of waddles, her legs are small in comparison to other chicks. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Still looks like a pullet to me with the white skin looking pinker than the yellow skinned birds next to it possibly being an optical illusion.

Marans (always said with the S at the end even for a single bird) often show their male gender early (in my experience, copper is coming by now on males in addition to red comb/wattles).. but the next two weeks should be telling. I would wait still to see if it's a later bloomer though.

Hope you know soon! :fl
