Coq au Vin

I used a 10 month old rooster for my coq a vin..

I just recently made "rooster q" from a 5 month old free-range one.
I soaked him overnight in a sugar salt brine..Then boiled and chopped the meat, then added BBQ sauce..

My roomate is not much for fancy or gamey food, but he liked the RQ

He did not like the coq a vin..
I did, but I've never had it prepared by anyone else so I have no point of reference.
