Ok, thanks.@DucksAreBest I think you deleted your post but you spray & cool duck eggs (also called misting) on days 10-25 of incubation. It’s optional, but it does help keep humidity up and the air cells the right size
do you cool them to a certain temp or just leave the lid off for a certain amount of time?Tomorrow I start spraying and cooling the first set
I just leave the incubator open for ten minutes.do you cool them to a certain temp or just leave the lid off for a certain amount of time?
I sometimes do one, sometimes do the other. I think this time I’ll be taking the eggs out so that the incubator can stay warm, but other times I like to leave the incubator open so that once I shut the bator back, the incubator can slowly warm back up at the same speed of the eggs. I let the eggs sit to a temp of about 80-85°F when taking the eggs out to sit.do you cool them to a certain temp or just leave the lid off for a certain amount of time?
Aw it would’ve been awesome but the auction ended on Tuesday and it was too high of a price.Corb, if you win that other set, they’ll probably hatch around the same time mine come!
