Welcome to BYC.

I have to admit, even coming from a country family where livestock was...livestock, I name them. I have Blackbeard, the faverolle hen with way too much black in her beard, the Mafia Girls, who used to rule the backyard and beat up everybody else, etc. Everybody laughs about my Mafia Girls, but they lay green eggs that have the BEST flavor. (I try and steal them for my own breakfast.) Of course, we have Pi the katahdin sheep, Dolly the donkey, a dog about to go into labor (don't ask about THAT) a chihuahua, and a doxie mix, as well as my mother's two cats, a couple of parakeets, some zebra finches, a flock of silkies, 9 ducklings, 8 turkeys, and a whole flock of faverolles to keep Blackbeard company. Oh, and some Texas A&M coturnix quail (white feathered). I think that's everybody...
