I was just wondering, if I dose my birds’ ( chickens, ducks, & geese) water with Corid and my two goats ( Pygmy/ ND mixes) drink from the same water will it harm them? Also, would it be safe to then drench the goats with Corid if need be? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Two different sites that talk about goats and coccidiosis. They both mention treating with corid, so yes that would be an option. They both also mention that goats can get a vitamin B1 (thiamin) deficiency if treated with corid too often or for too long. So if the goats do not need treatment, you might want to either house them elsewhere, or provide a vitamin supplement for the goats while treating the birds.

Of course, the whole point of corid is to make the coccidiosis protozoan have a vitamin B1 deficiency--the trick is to do it for the right length of time to kill the coccidiosis but not hurt the chicken/duck/goose/goat!

(I don't much know about goats, but I'm pretty good at googling for things.)
