I think Corid drench dosing is 0.1 mg/pound of weight. Is that correct? Also, what can I do if my birds are bantams and don't weigh a pound yet? Or can I not?

I gave Corid for 5 days after off poops last week. We ended on Monday, all seemed well. Today, more off poops and one of my birds is noticeably not well. He's lethargic and puffed out. I started Corid again for all, but wondered if I can do a drench with him or not. He's about 13 ounces.

Thank you.

Shoot, I definitely meant ml, sorry!! My brain messed that one up.

Thank you for sharing!
It's so hard to get exact doses for these micro birds. Just went through this with ivermectin, and ended up giving a tiny bit more to the d'Uccle because I wasn't willing to split a drop. I would think Corid is even safer.

Exactly! Corid is super safe.

That's ~368 grams.
368 grams is 0.368 kg
The math is:
0.368 x 20 / 96 = ~0.08 ml (I'd round up to 0.1 ml)

Does that help?
It does, thank you. I just gave that to him. Should I do the drench with them all, or just him? Everyone is now back on Corid water as the only water source. He's the only one that looks visibly ill.

It really is. Thankfully, I've got a syringe that measures out these tiny amounts.

I would do just him, and I would probably do him later this evening. Do you have a food scale that you can weigh him on?
