Finished treating with corid over a week ago and now it’s back. What the heck? It was gone nearly 10 days. Does this often recur and if so what do I do? I don’t want them on corid forever. Is there anything else that could cause this blood? Happened overnight. 😞 I’m so upset.

Is there anything else this could be?
Should I put them on Medicated feed after this second treatment?

Thanks. I’ll do that. They’re 2 months old. How bad is if for them to be on it another 2-3 weeks? But I guess the coccidiosis is worse so there’s no choice. :( also worried about the cocci Becoming immune to the meds. Does that happen?

How are they acting? Are they eating and drinking? Does one seem to have more blood in poops than others? You can give some undiluted Corid 0.1 ml per pound twice a day for a few days to one that is especially sick. A vet can do a fecal test to see if there are still an overload of coccidia in the stools. Some vets will prescribe Albon or sulfadimethoxine, which is a sulfa antibiotic to help treat it as well. Another drug some use is toltrazuril. @casportpony might have other suggestions.

They’re acting fine thankfully. Should I try endocox or Albon or stick to the second round of corid?
