I just finished 5 days of Corid treatment @ 2 tsp per gal of water. I am now going into a week of rest (alternating daily plain water/poultry cell water).

@azygous said in a different post, "The protocol is five days on Corid, one week rest and then five more days on Corid."

My question is: After the 7 day rest, should I continue with the Corid @ the 2 tsp/gal level or the 1/2 dose of 1 tsp/gal for the final stretch of 5 days?

Thank you!

Do chickens need vitamins when treating with corid? I’ve read some conflicting info online

I have often read on this sight that vitamins afterwards are not necessary if you are giving them a balanced feed. You can choose to if you want it won't hurt. I tried to give mine vitamins in their water but they refused to drink it bc of the smell.

I just served my 2 week old chicks poultry cell in their water and they are very weirded out by it. One of them drank from it and I could tell it didn’t like it. They did 7 days of Corid then 3 days of Nutri drench water, then two days of regular water, and today stats two days of poultry cell. Along wit one week of probiotics in their feed. They are happy, good appetite. As I type I noticed one of the drinking the water just fine. I just want to make sure they are drinking if not ice have to change to regular water.
