Hi again, some of you may have seen my thread on my little chick who was sick. The fecal determined it to be coccidia. We started all 4 chicks on Corid solution from the vet in the drinking water on Friday evening. Saturday evening my sick chick had passed, sadly. The Corid was to last for a 5 day period. NOW, the other 3 chicks are all listless. Not much of an appetite. Just kind of sitting around quietly peeping here and there.
I am pretty mind boggled over what's going on and my vet is out until tomorrow. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Katie

This is what the label says. Please let me know if there needs to be a correction. And thank you so much for responding!

Put 16 oz of medication into 1 liter of water and use as only drinking source on ALL chickens. Treat for 5 days.
Corid Liquid 9.6 solution, oz

I was given two 16 oz bottles to total 32 oz.

Wow! If I'm reading correctly the Corid 9.6 solution you can buy online at valley vet says 8 oz to 100 gallons?! So is this dose I'm giving, as per vet instructions, just way too insanely high??

Pulled the water with Corid in it. Added a new watered with fresh water. They started drinking like mad. I'm thinking they just stopped drinking the Corid because it was too abrasive at that mix. So sad.

Well, let my mistake be a lesson to check for information outside of the label that the vet put on their prescription bottles. I'm not sure what happened but that's a pretty HUGE error on their part. I am not a happy camper. I'll be calling in the morning.
