I had 12 (new to me) young hens about 6 months old. They had bloody stools and I lost 3. I am on the 7th day of Corid treatment and all remaining look good. I still see a dropping each morning with a small amount of blood in it. Also another dropping that is wet and brown. Others look good. Considering at this point to continue a full 10 days of Corid or not? Any ideas? Some had mentioned in my previous thread “wrong start” a follow up with antibiotic. Not sure they need that or not?

Today no mass piles of blood, no blood streaks, no watery piles. Just the one wet light brown small pile and the rest as pictured. Today would be day 8 if I continued Corid.
8 chickens look well, one seemed quiet. Just to recap I lost 2, 2 recovered, and a new one looks quiet which was the first symptom at the start for the others.

All of it looks normal to me. The last one that is more wet is called Cecal poop. That's normal. A chicken has a cecal poop about once out of every 8-10 poops.

Behavior is a good indicator as to how they are doing. If they are acting fine, then if the Corid treatment is finished provide them with probiotics and vitamins for a couple of days.

If the little is still quiet, you can direct dose her with liquid Corid at a rate of .10ml per pound of weight orally for 3 days in a row.

Keep me posted.
