Good, this is out of your white male ?

Never hatched a white laced red, but I would have quessed they would show some degree of back striping. Do they not ?

No, this is from the eggs marked with a X. That pen included the original Black Laced red cock, and two daughters of his, which are also black laced red, but poorly laced. They have a shine of blue in the under feathers too.

The WLR hatch out buff colored as chicks, with just a touch of red on their heads. They will then feather out completely white, with just a touch of red on the wings. About the 2nd molt- they start becoming laced- to the point of being almost solid red. There are no chipmunk stripes on them at any point. The WLR really will fool you at various times of life.

Had two other weird colored chicks from this pen in this hatch- they are marked like a dark- but instead of brown body- they have white, but have the chimpunk stripes. I lost one- so it will be interesting to see how they feather out. They also came from eggs marked X.

Still at the same place on the whites.

I am a Cornish breeder and currently have Mostly very rare and hard to find Standard White Cornish, White laced red, and just now starting in Dark Cornish. Here are a few of what I have in my breeder pen's.

Anyway sorry for all the pic's but that is some of what I have going right now. I have hatched allot of whites also this spring and I am still going to continue on hatching them as well as the dark's & WLR all summer, in hopes of having some good stock on the ground for next springs breeding season.

Do you sell any chicks?

There is a hatchery in Oklahoma that sells pure Cornish. I have 10 coming on the 17th. Maybe these members do have the real ones.
I also have White Standard bred to Asils. But they do not have the size of the Cornish. They may just be enuff outside blood to help the Cornish over a long period of breeding.
Seeing as I live in Oklahoma, could you give me the name of the hatchery?

Anybody on here got any DC from Russel Roy ?

I have some chicks, but no adults yet! I've been buying hatching eggs from him to get a jump start on my flock since he told me he won't be selling chicks till the end of May or early June.

Oh, and thought I would mention that Jim Leopard from Oklahoma is selling some of his extra breeder trios of WL Red Cornish bantams. His post on his Facebook page reads, "7 trio's of White Laced Cornish Bantams for sale at $35.00 a set. I also have a few extra hens for sale at $10.00 each. These are out of the ones I showed last year."

You can find him on Facebook under Oklahoma Heritage Poultry: Their are pictures of his birds on that page.
