PS: Just in case you don't know about the chicken calculator, here it is:
http://kippenjungle.nl/kruising.html
Just play around with it, it will start to make sense. You can pick the rooster and hen, it will tell you what to expect for offspring, and in what ratio. You can "save" the offspring for later crossings if you like. The more you know about the genotype of your chickens the more accurate it is, you can pick gene by gene if youknow what you have. When I started with this I just picked the"show examples" chickens and played around with those and as I learned more about chicken genetics I got better at it.
This calculator has more choices and more detail: http://www.edelras.nl/Henk69/kruisingKipFlexTree.html

There's a calculator for just about every critter here: http://kippenjungle.nl/Overzicht.htm#pluginTree

And with those words Big medicine you confirmed what I've all ready asked the hatchery about,Namely what was used in their outcrops to improve egg production. The links you provided are very helpful!!! I had all ready planed on a pairing of the birds show I.g white in an effort to get more white.. Actually it's not a clean white. it's a very Smokey white,or very pale gray

Is it possible these are actually splash (2 copies of blue) and not white?
A white bird can be dominant white, recessive white, silver, or splash, or a combination of any of those. White and black are very tricky colours in the chicken world. If you want black to show at the same time as white, you'll need silver in your birds.

JR You are very welcome. You'll be an expert in no time!
